Craig (Skip) was the chosen one for the most wins cup.
Me (Linx) and Gary (Fluffy) had the afternoon off work to play golf, so we would be out early on the beer! That didn't happen as we followed the slowest golfers in the world (and I was really crap!) and took 5 1/2 hours to get round! We made it to the L.T.F.C. by around 20:00, and luckily Craig (Skip) hadn't been called out yet!
While practicing Craig (Skip) hit a 180. He followed it up with another and missed double 12 for a 141 finish! With this sort of form we couldn't wait for his first match! His first match saw him drawn out against the big jon-jer, Karl Bryant. Karl was playing some wonderful darts and Craig (Skip) was stuck in first gear. 1 - 0 soon become 2 - 0 to Karl and had the start in the third leg. Gary (Fluffy) gave some of his encouragement to Craig (Skip), come on for F*** sake, you're lucky it's the best of five this week! Craig (Skip) responded by taking a longer sip of his larger and started to turn the screw! a decent leg saw him peg a leg back and have the start in the fourth. Missed doubles from Craig (Skip) followed by missed winning doubles from Karl, the tension was too much for us to watch! BOOM! 2 - 2 and Craig (Skip) was back in the match. He won the toss of the coin and looked pumped up to finish the match off! The fifth and final leg was the worst of all of them! Plod, plod, plod and some more plodding saw the match go into the closing stages with Karl taking the initative near the end of the leg with an important 123 to leave double top! Craig had to take out 93 to win the match but failed to hit a treble with his first two darts and threw the last in anger to hit a big seven, leaving him 66 instead of a double or 54 at worst! Karl blew his chance and Craig got his one dart at tops, but no joy I'm afraid! Karl held his nerve to win the match and another trophy-less competition for the Pot Black 'A', Lets hope the trebles next week has a more favourable outcome for us?
Back to the Pot Black then lads??? Lets have one more here first, and cheer Matt's (Serious) dad on against Andy Honeyman.

To the bar for another and the view had somewhat improved! Gary (Fluffy) had spilt his second drink down his shirt, probably as he couldn't take his eyes off 'Right Said Fred' nestled in this barmaids bra! They were quite a delightful handful and I wouldn't mind doing a 'motor boat' in those puppies! The glaring and staring didn't stop from then on, and Gary (Fluffy) said I bet Nibs (Mr Subtle) wished he was here!!!
After the drooling stopped we headed back to the Pot Black and a couple of games of liar dice! I was shafted sitting next to Gary (Fluffy) as he hit bloody everything and I had Mr Wall (I call everyone a liar because it's fun) on my either side which meant I was out after four rounds! I managed to suck Mr Wall in on a slightly cocked die which he wanted to accept and it gave me 5 tens! Cheers mate. That aside I was clearly the worst in the world in both matches that night, and Gary (Fluffy) seemed to be the best in the world! Gary (Fluffy) won the first match and was runner up to Wally in the second game. Unbelievable that Darren (Gottsy) the luckiest man in the world didn't feature amongst the winners! Next time Darren!
Trebles next week lads, lets get through in this one please!
