My eyes are bleeding now! I can't keep this up!
Anyone else getting pissed off with that Sultana channel keep showing the England games?
Firstly I have to apologise to Serious (Matty) as I missed out his 180 from last week.
05/09/08 vs K.W.M.C.
HUD was back to strengthen the side this week, but unfortunately Dunston (al) was playing cards and couldn't make it to darts!
This looked like a formality from the start and after a 4 - 0 lead from the doubles things looked comfortable for us. Particularly comfortable for Serious (Matty) and Smasher (Georgey) as they hit 180, 140, 180, 60, 78 to finish their leg off (Serious hitting the big ones there). Natural joined in the fun this week with a decent performance and a 180 in the doubles! Fluffy was teasing me about the Chesney already as I had been drawn out last in the singles!
Serious up in the singles and made short work of J Weavers (get in there) with a 17 dart game, including 108st, 121, 132. Then things started to go wrong! Liquids (Kelvin) had what we thought was an easy match against D Rogers as he'd averaged around 26 a throw in the doubles! Liquids would have settled with 26 a throw himself as he played like a puppet and lost! Smasher (Georgey) missed two at a double which let in the very dodgy D Cable for a win and now 5 - 2. After a ten minute wait, super team player Sheepy (Spence) turned up to dispatch of their player D Hewitt, who Liquids (Kelvin) would have even had a chance to beat!!!
6 - 2 now and the draw was secure, but we were chasing legs to keep in tact with the Ex Serv HG! Well the legs were out of the window as we lost the next two and at 6 - 4 with HUD (Paul) and Me left we were now concentrating on the win and not the legs or a Chesney! HUD was up against Action Jackson who is probably their best player so we were concentrating on the final game and hoping that Capt Cob would have enough bottle to come through against Buster!
We were correct to write off HUD as Action was on a double with HUD still in the 300's! 30 darts later saw Hud get a chance on a 100+ finish but no joy! Action missed again, and HUD made no mistake this time to get the 7th leg (Thank Fook). Last game was easy with no pressure and a 97 finish in two darts secured the 8 - 4 result.
Serious (Hooky) you were amazing this week, so keep it up! The rest can learn a lot from him apart from Dunston (Al) who wasn't there and Natural (Ed) who's lost three on the spin and is unlikely to get another chance this week!!!!
Other Matters
Gottsy still finding it hard to pull anything but a muscle at Broadview, but we love you for driving each week!
Paul managed a little kiss with a pretty young lass this Saturday, so the rumour has it!
Statistic's so far

MOST 101's - M. HOOK
MOST HIGH STARTS - M. HOOK
MOST 180's - M. HOOK

I don't want anyone moaning about the content in these blog pages as it is really hard to try and be funny when you're writing for over three hours!!!!
See you all soon.
