An away trip to the marquis and the potty boys still searching for their first win of the season. It started to look ominous when our opening pair of Bungle and the legend (soon to be re-named Mother Theresa and Billy 12 cabs, but thats another story) lost the first game. There then followed a very strange occurrence with our guys recording seven straight wins, to not only give us our first win of the season but to do it with four games in hand! Unfortunately we could not keep it going with Paul Tyler and Dave Stride both losing before wins for Trev and Oz wrapped up a creditable 9-3 victory. This could be what we need to kick start our season and we are now looking forward to a home game next week against Ex Servicemens D (yes it has been a couple of weeks since we played one of their teams so we knew it was due!). Lets see if we can keep the momentum going.
