Sorry it's a little late again guys! I'm making sure I don't have to do 4 in a row again!
Firstly I must say a big thank you to the 'B' side for giving us an advantage over the Ex Serv 'HG' so early in the season as they beat them 8 - 4. Well done guys, lets hope we can do our bit now???
Lets get the wise cracks out of the way now.....
When you walk into the Pot Black around 19:00 you'd expect to see one of the bigger drinkers, HUD (Paul) already supping away!!! Oh he was there, but he was drinking "HALF PINTS" of larger! He had a crap excuse for it as well.....
He'd already been on a date with a "colleague" from work, I know what you're thinking, but this was actually a female! Well, he told us then that he'd made his mind up after around half an hour that he wasn't interested in her, but DG (Gottsy) said they were all over each other in the back of "Gottsfreecabs" that evening at around 03:00.
Well I gave Weekend Sportsman (Paul) the benefit of the doubt, as I know how people can exaggerate stories about you! Especially if you go for a Ruby and order a Vin - da - spoo, Doh!
After asking about the sissy half pints he was consuming it was down to this "colleague" from work again (by the way her name is Becky). So this is a second date then HUD (Paul) ? I'm sure you've told me before that no woman can come before your drinking and darts, but I guess you've bent the rules quite a bit here! She popped across from the wine lodge to see HUD (Paul) and wanted him to go back with her! HUD (Paul) put his foot down and persuaded her to stay which cost him a few drinks. At this point no-one had anything to say, as he'd done pretty well for himself as the lads and I thought she was rather tempting. Of course we contemplated about what was wrong with her as she was interested in HUD (Paul) but maybe it was his irresistible laughter!!!!!
The laughter may have been the attraction you know? On a couple of occasions during the evening we could hear the cackling giggles from Weekend Sportsman (Paul) only to find out they were coming from Becky! This was the thing they had in common with each other (apart from drinking and working in the bank)!
They left to go up Hush as I went with DG to his second home, Broadview (Not South Africa).
See you Friday HUD (Paul). It's nice to see you with a decent woman mate. Me and Fluffy are short of a stag for 2010 if you were planning anything?
